About the non-profit:
Rooftops Canada collaborates with Canadian and international organizations to help urban residents and families in Sub-Saharan Africa secure affordable homes and establish sustainable communities.

Roll-Up Banner

For this project, I was asked to design a 31.5"x78" banner. Their existing banner has been around for more than 10 years, and it was ready to retire.

Rooftops wanted a new design that felt vibrant and youthful. It would be used to attract potential donors and young professionals at conferences or promotional events held on post-secondary institutions. In addition to the graphics, I also revised the copy from the existing banner to sound a more welcoming and action-oriented. After presenting my rough ideas and concepts, it was decided that two designs would be used, one of which would be in French.

Social Media Graphics

This project is a series of social media graphics for various United Nations International Days. Through my research, I noticed that some of these international days are often misrepresented and the contents created deviates from the original intentions of the events. So, I wanted to properly reflect the intentions of each international days while prompting viewers to ponder on its message.

Disclaimer: Many of the graphics incorporated original illustrations and stock assets.

Informational Video

I was asked to create a video that highlights Rooftops' current global initiative, The Women's Spaces Project (WSP). This video would be shown at conferences to help raise awareness for their organization and the WSP. The challenge was to communicated the enough information to intrigue viewers, while clearly represent the subject, within a 2-minute timeframe using pre-recorded footages and interview audio.
